Eldan Probebots, or maintenance constructs, have been following the same assigned simple repair and maintenance tasks for several centuries or more. The repetitive tasks have burned physical pathways into their neural networks, creating distinctive patterns. It may not be possible to reprogram these constructs without destroying their functionality, so they will probably continue their maintenance tasks until external hazards cause catastrophic malfunctions.
